2. Application & Registration
Mandatory Registration: All candidates seeking admission through CAP must register online at www.mahacet.org.
Fee for Non-MHT-CET Candidates: If you have a valid JEE (Main) or NEET (UG) score but did not register for MHT-CET 2026, you must pay a non-refundable application fee online.
General/OMS/J&K/Ladakh Migrant: ₹1300/-
Reserved (Maharashtra State only), PWD, Orphan, Transgender: ₹1000/-
3. Document Verification Modes
Two Modes: You must choose one during form filling.
E-Scrutiny (Online): Upload scanned documents. Verification is done online via a Facilitation Centre (FC). You do not need to visit in person.
Physical Scrutiny: You must visit a designated Scrutiny Centre (SC) / Facilitation Centre (FC) in person for document verification.
4. Eligibility Criteria (Brief)
Citizenship: Must be a citizen of India.
Qualifying Exam: Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical/Vocational subject, or Computer Science).
Minimum Marks: 45% (40% for Reserved, EWS, and PWD candidates from Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together.
Entrance Test:
Must have a non-zero score in MHT-CET 2026 (PCM/PCB) OR a non-zero positive score in JEE (Main) / NEET.
Note: Preference is given to candidates with JEE (Main) or NEET scores over those with only MHT-CET scores.
Diploma Holders: Candidates with a 3-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology (with 45% marks) are also eligible.
5. Category & Certificate Requirements - UPDATED
Caste/Tribe Validity: SC, ST, VJ/DT NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, and SEBC candidates must produce a valid Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate.
Non-Creamy Layer (NCL): OBC, SBC, and SEBC candidates must produce a valid NCL certificate (valid until 31st March 2027).
EWS: Must produce an EWS certificate as per the specific Maharashtra Government format (G.R. No. 2-809/P.N.3/9/6-3, dated 31/05/2021).
Failure to Produce Documents: If you fail to produce the required validity/NCL/EWS certificates during verification, you will be treated as a General Category candidate for CAP admissions.
6. Important Warning on Certificate Submission - UPDATED
OBC & SEBC Candidates: If you submitted a receipt for your Caste Validity Certificate during registration, you must now upload and verify the original certificate by visiting a Scrutiny Center as per the new timeline in G.R. No. 2028/3.4.9(4-9)/4, dated 02/07/2026.
All Reserved Categories (SC, ST, VJ/DT NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), SBC, EWS, OBC, SEBC): If you submitted a receipt for your Caste/Tribe Validity, NCL, or EWS Certificate, you must upload and verify the final original certificate at a Scrutiny Center and submit it to your admitted institute on or before the final reporting date of the 4th CAP round. Failure to do so will result in automatic admission cancellation, and you will be considered under the Open category for subsequent rounds.
7. Special Category Candidates
J&K and Ladakh Migrants: Must register online and then approach "Director, Sardar Patel College of Engineering (SPCE), Andheri (West), Mumbai" directly for admission under the specific quota.
NRI/OCI/PIO/FN: Must apply through the separate portal: https://fn.mahacet.org/. (OCI guidelines per Supreme Court order will apply).
Orphan/Defense Reservations: Applicable as per Government of Maharashtra rules.
8. Important Warnings & Instructions
Rejected Applications: If your application is not confirmed by E-Scrutiny or Physical Scrutiny centers within the given timeline, it will be rejected, and your name will not appear in the merit list.
Fee Difference: Reserved category candidates who fail to produce required certificates will have to pay a fee difference of ₹300/-.

KEAM 2024 : Inviting Applications Admission to Engineering, Architecture, MBBS, BDS, Homoeo, Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, Fisheries, Co-operation & Banking, Climate Change & Environmental Science, B.Tech Biotechnology and Pharmacy Courses. Admission to Engineering Courses Admission to Engineering Courses in Kerala is based on the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Kerala. Engineering rank is prepared by giving equal weightage of 50:50 to the Normalized score obtained in the Entrance Examination for Engineering as described in Clause 9.4.4 (i) and the grade/marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure as described in Clause 9.7.4 (b)(iii) in KEAM-2024 Prospectus. Admission to Pharmacy Course B.Pharm Rank list will be prepared, as per Clause 9.7.4 (f), on the basis of Index mark calculated from the score obtained in Physics & Chemistry sections of the Engineering Entrance Examination. Admission to Pharmacy Course Admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Veterinary, Co-operation & Banking, Climate Change & Environmental Science, B.Tech Biotechnology courses will be based on NEET-UG 2024. Those candidates who wish to be considered for the allotment in Medical & Allied Courses in Kerala State should be qualified in NEET-UG 2024.
